Why do coaches coach without their tactics board? Is this a lack of preparation? Both Fatch and I are reliant on this why? Because we’re prepared! Yesterday we were hit for the very first time by a press which in all fairness did its job and the West Brom team managed to claw back some points. After controlling the emotions of the team Fatch then had illustrated diagrams with our pressbreak yo remind our guys how to beat the break. Without this visual aid we may have struggled to manage and control it as West Brom’s game intensity was high at the point.
